Industry Salaries

The growing healthcare industry specifically marketed toward the steadily rising elderly population offers nice salaries. A nursing care facility for the general public averages $79,010 for salaries. On the high end, a salary average of $105,650 is seen for those in the specialty industry. Home health care services ranks in the middle with an average of $84,710.

Top Markets

If you are looking for an above average salary, look no further than metropolitan areas. Boston, New York City, San Diego, New Haven, Seattle and Tacoma have salaries averaging around $114,610. With an average salary of $123,930, San Jose-Santa Clara-Sunnyvale, California metro tops the list. Certain states offer better than average salaries with Massachusetts topping the list. In order to capitalize on these top salaries, you need an RCFE administrator certification in California. The certification requires a course completion and the passage of an exam. To maintain certification, you need to take continuing education courses annually.
